Valor C
O termo valor C refere-se à quantidade de ADN contida dentro de um núcleo haploide de um organismo eucarionte Em alguns casos (especialmente em organismos diplóides), os termos valor C e tamanho do genoma são usados de maneira igual, no entanto, em poliplóides o valor C pode representar dois genomas contidos num mesmo núcleo.
