Carcinidae is een familie uit de infraorde krabben (Brachyura). Tot deze familie behoren een tiental soorten die voorkomen voor de Belgische en Nederlandse kust. Vroeger werd dit taxon als een onderfamilie van de Portunidae beschouwd.
