ロマーノ・プッポ（Romano Puppo、1933年3月25日– 1994年5月11日）はイタリアのスタントマン兼俳優。片仮名表記ではロマノ・プッポが一般的で、時にはロマノ・ルッポ等の誤記がVHSソフトのジャケット上に見られる。

クレジット名義は複数あり、大作テレビ映画『サハラの秘宝』等ではプッポ・ロマーノ（Puppo Romano）と記されている。他にもローマン・バレット（Roman Barrett）、ロマーノ・ペッピーノ（Romano Peppino）、ローマン・ギア（Roman Geer）がある。

俳優としての特徴

『新・夕陽のガンマン/復讐の旅』では酒場の場面に登場する保安官補役。リー・ヴァン・クリーフとは『復讐のガンマン』(1966年)や『怒りの荒野』(1967年)、『風の無法者』（1968年）等のマカロニ・ウエスタンで共演歴があり、ヴァン・クリーフのアクション場面の代役も務め、プライベートでも親交があった。また、ジュリアーノ・ジェンマとも友人で、共演作品も少なくない。

マカロニウエスタン時代の1960年代から数多くの娯楽作に出演する傍らスタントマンも務め、数多くのアクション映画やテレビ作品にも脇役あるいは端役出演し、悪役の手下役が多かった。また、ディーノ・デ・ラウレンティース製作、マイケル・アンダースン監督の大作『オルカ』(1977年)ではスタント・コーディネーターに抜擢された。晩年はイカツイ風貌に渋さも加わり、演技者としての風格も見られた。1994年に出身地であるフリウリ＝ヴェネツィア・ジュリア州のトリエステでバイクの運転中に心臓発作に襲われ、事故死した。

フィリピンでの活動

1980年代に入るとアントニオ・マルゲリーティ監督がアンソニー・M・ドースンの変名で『戦場の謝肉祭』（1980年/未/ビデオ）等のベトナム戦争を題材にした戦争アクション物を手掛けてからは、イタリア映画界もフィリピンへ乗り込み、同傾向の作品を量産した。ルチアーノ・ピゴッツィやマッシモ・ヴァンニ等のベテラン脇役俳優もそれ等に参加し。プッポも例外ではなかった。

ブルーノ・マッテイ監督がヴィンセント・ドーンの変名で撮った『マシンガン・ソルジャー/戦場の狼』（1987年）、『サイバーロボ』、『サイゴン野獣刑事』（共に1988年）に出演した。また、マッテイの下で助監督を務めて来たクラウディオ・フラガッソが監督した『人喰地獄/ゾンビ復活』（1989年/未/ビデオ）にもクレジット無しで特殊メークを施したゾンビ役で出演している。尚、本作と同時期にマルゲリーティ監督の戦争アクション物の集大成的な『ザ・コマンダー』（1988年/未ソフト化）にも傭兵役で顔を見せた。
