Direkam pada 27 Maret 1962, di Radio Recorders, Hollywood, karya tersebut berkisah tentang seorang pria yang mengirim sepucuk surat dengan dikirim ke pacarnya setelah sebuah argumen. Ia masih "berbalas kirim" ("return to sender") dan ia tetap meraih surat tersebut dengan berbagai alasan untuk berbalas kirim, termasuk "alamat yang tak diketahui" dan "bukan orang manapun".
