Reid Venable Moran (30 Juni 1916 – 21 Januari 2010) adalah seorang botanis Amerika Serikat dan kurator botani di San Diego Natural History Museum sejak tahun 1957 hingga 1982.[1]
Moran memilki keterkaitan dengan Crassulaceae, sebuah famili tumbuhan, dan secara khusus pada genus Dudleya, topik dari disertasi doktoralnya.[2]
Salah satu publikasi Moran adalah "Cneoridium dumosum (Nuttall) Hooker F. Collected March 26, 1960, at an Elevation of about 1450 Meters on Cerro Quemazón, 15 Miles South of Bahía de Los Angeles, Baja California, México, Apparently for a Southeastward Range Extension of Some 140 Miles" (1966), sebuah karya yang berisi lima kata dan sebuah angka.[3][4]
Moran meninggal dunia pada 21 Januari 2010 di Clearlake, California.[5]
