Donald Arthur Carson (lahir 21 Desember 1946) adalah seorang teolog Reformed Evangelikal dan profesor Perjanjian Baru yang lahir di Kanada.

Carson lahir di Montreal, Quebec, Canada, kepada pasangan Thomas Donald McMillan Carson dan Elizabeth Margaret (née Maybury), tetapi tumbuh di Drummondville. Ia meraih gelar B.S. (1967) dalam bidang kimia dan matematika dari McGill University, M.Div. dari Central Baptist Seminary (Toronto), dan Ph.D. (1975) dalam bidang Perjanjian Baru dari Universitas Cambridge. Carson menikah dengan Joy (née Wheildon) pada tanggal 16 Agustus 1975.^[1]

Carson menjabat sebagai pastor Richmond Baptist Church di Richmond, British Columbia dari tahun 1970 sampai 1972. Setelah studi doktoralnya, ia bekerja tiga tahun pada Northwest Baptist Theological College (Vancouver) dan pada tahun 1976 menjadi dekan pendiri seminari itu.^[1] Pada tahun 1978, Carson bergabung menjadi pengajar pada Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, di mana ia menjadi profesor riset.

Carson merupakan anggota dewan pendiri The Gospel Coalition.^[2]
