The Legendary Pink Dots on vuodesta 1980 toiminnassa ollut psykedeelistä ja kokeellista musiikkia soittava yhtye. Yhtyeen keulahahmo-sanoittaja-laulaja Edward Ka-Speliä on verrattu useasti Pink Floydin kitaristi-laulaja Syd Barrettiin. Ka-Spel perusti The Legendary Pink Dotsin yhdessä kosketinsoittaja Phil Knightin (alias The Silverman) kanssa. Yhtyeen jäsenet pyörittävät myös Terminal Kaleidoscope -levy-yhtiötä, jonka kautta yhtye julkaisee levyjään.

LPD:lla ja Skinny Puppylla on yhteisprojekti The Tear Garden.
