Alan Irwin Menken (New York, 1949ko uztailaren 22a) estatubatuar musikagilea da.

Manhattanen jaio zen familia judu batean. Piano eta biolin klaseak jaso zituen eta bederatzi urterekin hasi zen konposatzen. 1972an Arte eta Zientzietan graduatu zen New Yorkeko Unibertsitatean.

Broadwayko musikalentzako musika konposatu du eta filmetarako abestiak eta soinu-bandak idatzi ditu. Aipagarria da Walt Disney Animation Studios eta Skydance Animationentzat egindako lana.
