Yeniyenice is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Bandırma, Balıkesir province in Turkey.[1] Its population is 608 (2022).[2]
History
It is thought that the neighbourhood was established around the years of 1420-1430. There are multiple rumors about the establishment of the neighbourhood. However it is more commonly believed that someone named Kocabey settled here with his family. The settlement in the neighbourhood started as a farm. Over time more people came and it became a village in the Early Ottoman Era.[3]
