Monroe Township is one of fourteen townships in Carroll County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,863 (up from 2,797 at 2010[4]) and it contained 1,287 housing units.
History
Monroe Township was organized in 1840.[5]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.06 square miles (62.3 km2), of which 24.04 square miles (62.3 km2) (or 99.92%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.08%) is water.[4]
