Lalakai Louis Arapeta Foketi (born 22 December 1994) is a professional rugby union player who plays as a centre for Super Rugby team the Waratahs. Born in New Zealand, he represents Australia at international level.[1]
Professional career
Foketi was named in the Melbourne Rebels extended playing squad for the 2014 Super Rugby season.[2]
He was not expected to feature much during his debut season, however a spate of injuries to Rebels backline players saw him earn a first Super Rugby cap against the Waratahs on 23 May 2014.[3]
Foketi was an Australia Schoolboys representative in 2012,[4] and played four matches for the Australia Under 20 side at the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in France.[5] He also played four matches in the 2014 tournament in New Zealand.[6][7]
