Joseph Stanislaus Conwell (born February 24, 1961) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 1984 NFL supplemental draft.[1] He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels and attended Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.[2] Conwell was also a member of the Philadelphia/Baltimore Stars of the United States Football League (USFL).[3][4]
He is the brother of singer Tommy Conwell.[5]
