Güines Formation
Güines Formation (Cuba)
The Güines Formation is a geologic formation in Cuba. It preserves fossils dating back to the Early to Middle Miocene period. Among others, fossils of the prehistoric dugong, Metaxytherium were found in the formation.[1]
