The 68th Jaeger Brigade "Oleksa Dovbush" (Ukrainian: 68-ма окрема єгерська бригада імені Олекси Довбуша) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2022.[2]

History

The Brigade's units are designed to conduct combat operations in forest and swampy areas, and are staffed by military personnel with experience in combat operations or with civilian activities related to the specifics of the Brigade.[3]

During the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive, the brigade has been involved in Eastern Ukraine campaign in the Donetsk Oblast, Lyman direction.[4]

On June 2023, the 11th, alongside several territorial defence battalions, the brigade liberated the village of Blahodatne marking the first settlement to be liberated by Ukrainian forces during the counteroffensive.[1][5][6]
