The 2024–25 FA Cup qualifying rounds will open the 144nd edition of the FA Cup, the world's oldest association football single knockout competition, organised by The Football Association, the governing body for the sport in England. 653 teams in the 5th to 9th tier of English football will compete across six rounds for 32 spots in the First round proper.

Eligibility

The number of teams entered rose from 732 to 745, reflecting the growth of the 8th tier.[1] 653 teams, all those from below the English Football League, entered into the qualifying competition. [1] The increase in the size of the 9th tier meant that teams from 10th tier were no longer accepted into the competition.
